In order to obtain yarns with different quality standards, different spinning methods and spinning system should be adopted for different fiber materials.
Cotton spinning system
The raw materials used in cotton spinning production are cotton fiber and cotton-type chemical fiber, like pure cotton yarn, pure chemical fiber yarn and various blended yarn. In the cotton spinning system, according to the raw materials quality and yarn quality requirements, it is divided into carding system, combing system and waste spinning system.
Carding system
Carding system generally used for spinning coarse special yarn, medium special yarn, for weaving ordinary fabric
Combing system
The combing system is used for spinning high-grade cotton yarn, special yarn or cotton and chemical fiber blended yarn.
Waste spinning system
The waste spinning system is used to process low-priced coarse special cotton yarn.
Chemical fiber and cotton blending system
When polyester (or other chemical fiber) and cotton blending, due to polyester and cotton fiber properties and contains different, polyester (or other chemical fiber) and cotton can not be mixed and processed in the clear combing process, they need to be made into fiber respectively and then mixed on the head drawing machine (mixing). In order to ensure mixing, need to use three parallel.
Wool spinning system
Wool spinning spinning system is used wool fiber and wool type chemical fiber as raw material, then spinning wool yarn, wool and chemical fiber blended yarn and chemical fiber pure spinning yarn on the wool spinning equipment.
Cardingwool spinning system and combing wool spinning system
Combing wool spinning system has many processes and long processes, which can be divided into two parts: strip making and spinning.
Combed strip making also called wool strip manufacturing, can set up a separate factory, combed wool strip can be sold as a commodity.
Some combing wool spinning factory don’t have strip making process, they used combed wool strip as raw materials, production process including front spinning, after spinning; most factories also do not have wool strip dyeing process and compound combing strip dyeing process. compound combing refers to the second combing of wool after wool strip dyeing, compound combing process is similar as strip making process. In addition, there is a spinning system between the combing and carding called semi-combed spinning system.
Silk spinning system
Silk spinning includes two spinning systems – silk spinning system and centipede silk spinning system. It’s density is small, used for weaving thin high-grade silk; centipede silk spinning yarn density is large, can make loose, hairy yarn.

Centipede spinning system
Centipede is the use of fallen cotton in the end of the round card machine as raw material, can use cotton spinning comb spinning system or cotton spinning rotor spinning system or carding wool spinning system to spin yarn.
Hemp spinning system
Hemp spinning system has ramie spinning system, jute spinning system, flax spinning system.
Ramie spinning system
Ramie spinning system is the same as combing wool spinning or silk spinning system, only need to adjust the equipment. The original hemp should be processed into fine hemp by pretreatment, and short ramie and fallen ramie can be processed by cotton spinning system.
Flax spinning system
The raw material of flax is beaten into hemp, which is processed by flax . The roving yarn of flax spinning need to be boiled and trained before being processed by spinning. The fallen hemp and returning hemp of long hemp spinning need to usd the short hemp spinning system.
Jute spinning system
The process of jute spinning is: raw material, raw material preparation, combing hemp, drawing strip, and fine sand.
